Optics: the big difference
The Celestron Origin bets on light: 6″ RASA optics (152 mm, f/2.2), one of the fastest on the market. It captures in record time what others need an hour to do. The Vespera Pro 2 keeps a compact 50 mm aperture but extremely refined apochromatic optics.
Sensor
The Vespera Pro 2 has the highest-resolution sensor on the market: 12.5 MP. The Celestron Origin uses an 8.3 MP sensor (Sony IMX678 Starvis 2), very capable but lower on paper.
Size and price
The Celestron Origin is far bigger and heavier (18.6 kg): it’s a backyard observatory, not a travel companion. The Vespera Pro 2 stays portable (5 kg) and cheaper (€2,990 vs €3,999).

Choose the Celestron Origin if you want maximum light-gathering power and a high-end fixed station, with no weight constraint.
Choose the Vaonis Vespera Pro 2 if you want the highest resolution, portability and a gentler price for exceptional photographic results.
